Hi everyone. I’m 44f, just completed my first IVF egg retrieval. 3 eggs, only 1 matured. On day 5, I was informed they embryo has only progressed to day 3. I consider myself lucky because work benefits covered most of this. I’m contemplating should I bother trying again or just come to terms that this might not happen for me? Wil the second round cost as much at the first round?

I got that much dreaded call from doctor’s office today. Neither embryo made it to blastocyst stage 😭😭 At this point, after two failed IVFs, I’m completely lost. I don’t know what to do next. I feel defeated, yet I want to be hopeful.
