JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

Personally, I think it’s a complete status thing. All my friends in banking have a platinum, more people notice the platinum as a “premium card,” it’s a little heavier too. It came out first as well.
In any case, the CSR is much better for daily spending, especially if you eat out a lot. The amex platinum is good for perks but not very good for very daily spending (the blue cash preferred is much better for that IMO)
Agreed. I do use the CSR. Find it funny how my friends in baking just refuse to acknowledge the clear points advantage. If anything the lounges would benefit people on the road all the time (e.g. consultants)
Lounge access (Centurion and Delta), Hilton and Bonvoy gold status, $100 annual Saks fifth avenue credit
Mainly the centurion lounge access and all the random credits / hotel statuses
Access to delta and centurion lounge. Annually you receive $200 airline credit (gift cards), $200 Uber credits, $100 Saks fifth avenue credit. So the $550 annual fee is offset by $500 in credits.. no brainer imo
Priority pass through Amex is discontinuing non-lounge benefits in airports. CSR still carries it. This is a big devaluation and great perk in many airports while on personal travel in addition to travel delay and points.
I can live without Centurion lounges.
Also, the travel credit is much easier to use on the CSR (reimbursed automatically and it spans a wide range of things, e.g., parking, uber, public transportation, etc.). With the amex platinum you’re limited to “incidentals” on airline travel or can buy gift cards on a few airlines (loophole, as in theory the airline credit is not supposed to cover them). Finally, the amex platinum gives you access to the fine hotels & resorts program (can save you quite a bit with free breakfast, free wifi). Overall, there is quite some overlap between the two cards. Most people will find it easier to accumulate points with the CSR
CSR also has the luxury hotels & resorts benefit
As primary card CSR is better. If you fly often and specially if you fly Delta, Amex is a no brained to have. As posted above the cost is out weighted by the benefits.
I personally only use my Amex for flights, and use the Uber Barclays as a daily card.
Uber credit card offers 4% cash back on restaurants, 2% on online purchases and 1% on all else. Given the amount I travel and, therefore, eat out. The 4% cash back and no annual fee is pretty generous.

CSR has an annual Saks credit? How am I just learning about this...
I think Amex Platinum has that benefit
I do the Platinum AmEx because the company pays the fee while I reap all the benefits
Does it make sense to nab both of them? (Already have CSR and will be hitting the road again, soon.)
Was thinking:
-AMEX Plat for flights/hotel.
-CSR for food and entertainment.
Alternative would be to lump flights with CSR and get a hotel branded card (Bonvoy).
DFW is my home airport (potential factor for AMEX)
Agreed, much simpler to enjoy the benefits w the CSR
