Hi all. I wanted to ask for some guidance on when to start applying for MBA internships with consulting firms. I recently started a new position and so not want to come off as a job hopper. I currently work as a grants account for a hospital in Philadelphia. I am a first semester MBA student at the moment while also working g on a Goole data analytics certificate. Is it bad manners or just a bad idea to go back to a recruiter if they got you a job that wound up being a bad fit?
For context, I don’t think they misled me. The job changed 3 weeks after I got hired, and got stuck in a role that’s just not a good fit. Gave it 6 months of honest effort and I’m ready to start job hunting.
I saw this recruiter make a post on LinkedIn, and I liked working with them the first time, and I want to reach out. But I don’t know what they’ll think.

I’ve worked in sales for 12 years (8 years retail sales and management, 4 years inside tech sales and management). I’m feeling the burn and looking for something else in the tech field. I’m making $140k. I have a college degree but no marketing, engineering, or product experience. What other departments/jobs could I jump to and still keep close to my OTE? Things are apparently going to get better after a client will be leaving, I’ll get to work on different brands but I am feeling pretty burnt out from the agency I’m at. Will new clients help? I passed out in 2013 and started job in 2015 on contractual basis till mid 2017 and during this Many payroll companies changed for that particular contract and in this duration my PF, tax didn't deduct and no record in PF portal.
