Does industry of your first in-house role affect your exit opportunities or is it just the day-to-day role and skill set that matter?

Actively applying now to TAS/FDD senior roles and want to put myself in the best position possible to get an offer. Any advice on how to best prepare for interviews? Reviewed a few case studies and have taken financial modeling courses but am looking to see if anyone can point me to any resources outside of that.

I have total 4 years of experience in IT,relevant experience in testing is 3 years,but my designation is technical support engineer,is this will create any problem during interview and during verification?please advice

From what I've experienced most BizOPS case interviews are more geared towards the product than the standard consulting case and maybe a little market sizing.

I started in my first SDR position in a small SaaS start up few months ago. I am the only SDR and their first ever.
The base salary is ok but I haven’t received any commission structure up to this day.
I book an average of 3-5 demos per week. People always show up, but the thing that worries me is that I do not have a way to track how many meetings I book in our CRM,and to be honest I feel like I didn’t get the best training overall. Should I start looking somewhere else? Thoughts?

I have a question. I work as an assistant manager been a manager for a while worked for the company for 6 years. I know crew gets paid a dollar less than me yet a do a lot ( its part of my job ) I asked for a raise I was told wait 3 months. Waited I asked again was told I needed to do this this and that. I'm an investment banker and in late stages of a couple CorpDev roles of Fortune 200 companies. Both roles report to Head of CorpDev. I would be interested to understand the typical career progression. Assuming Head of CorpDev will stay in position for the next 5-10 years, what is the expectation of upward mobility then? Is it more common to progress through jumping around to different companies?
