I recently left the bank channel and went Indy, I’ve been successful at moving clients and assets over and am just getting started. A former bank advisor colleague has show interest in partnering up. For comparison purposes our AUM and production numbers were comparable. I did more fee based business while he did more VA and insurance business but we both have a fairly balanced product mix. So, I’m interviewing for a position that fits perfectly, HR likes my profile, had great conversations with them. Today I had a Panel interview with HR and the hiring manager. The manager is not experienced, it’s her first r manager role and she’s been in it for 3 months. I was prepared but was out of breath the entire interview, had a knot in my throat, had trouble finding my words. It’s like I had PTSD when this manager came into the picture. Ever had that?
