So i had a interview with a site to be a clinical research assistant. It was a phone interview it went decently. Anyway i did not get the position. I thanked the person interviewing me then i asked them why i did not get the position and what it is i can improve on going forward. Is this something any of you recommend doing or is it a waste of time.

Applied for a Director role in industry without realizing their Director = our manager. Had a call with HR that said their salary band is $20-30k below my current. They are requesting an interview with hiring manager, who is a lot less experienced than I am. Should I email them now to let know I am not interested or go through it?

I’m looking to transition from an academic medical center to pharma or a biotech. I have about 8 years of clinical research experience overall — 7 years combined as a CRC (CRC I, CRC II, and senior CRC) and 1 year as a PM. I’m also recently ACRP-CP certified.
