2/19 Thread (General):
I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

This is Fishbowl? Did you mean you’re using Glassdoor to find a job?
Partly yes!!
I’ve been looking since February and barely have had any interviews. I’m not sure what the issue is though. I’m qualified for everything I’ve applied to and then some. I have a gap in my work history due to my being the caregiver for my mom. Could that be it? I didn’t put that on my resume but I’m wondering if I should. Any thoughts?
I did. Thank you!
What do you love to do? Once you find out what you love to do you'll never have to work another day . Stop waiting for what ever???
Well I enjoy staying home but I need to make money for rent, food and other bills!!
Sounds like a very similar issue to mine. What the employer will be wanting is an explanation of why you want that particular job, with that particular company.
For instance. When I got my current job, I said that I'd been dealing with the company as a customer for years. That I liked the products. And that I found the staff great. I went onto say that when I found myself needing work, I thought the company would be a great place to try.
I'd actually forgotten I'd done this, till someone else reminded me in a reply to my post. But it works for me.
Great advise!! I’ll remember that!!
Hi, Looking for a dependable, organized individual to work from home as a remote assistant. Your role will include listing rental properties online, managing inquiries, and supporting with basic admin tasks, no errands or on-site visits required. No prior experience is necessary; training will be provided. Bi-Weekly pay. If interested, kindly send a direct message @(951) 377-8392 for more information regarding the job position.!!!
A few things that might help: tailor your resume to each role, practice concise answers to common interview questions, and always send a thoughtful thank-you note afterward. Also, networking (even casually) can often open more doors than just applications.

The job market is tough right now. My best advice is to not give up. It can be a long and disheartening process but something will happen eventually. It took me almost a year to find a great paying admin job. I almost gave up many times and thankfully I had another job while I searched.

When I didn't have that luxury I took on side gig jobs to help me through the hard times. I've been there! I've had to doordash, worked one day a week as a receptionist at a dentist office, part time at a hotel at the front desk, set up photo booths at weddings. I took whatever I could while I was waiting on a job. They weren't my idea of a good job, but as a single person who needed to pay my bills I did everything I could to float.
