Today I learned a new thing. One candidate was referred by a colleague of mine in the system. He got selected and offer letter rolled out.

When he checked the system he realized the referral was not taken and the background system captured it as direct hire.

So my friend is not going to get any referral incentive.

Hi Fishes, I've nearly 2.5 YoE in SAP Basis module and I'm not able to figure things out. We were initially trained on ABAP but then told we would work on Basis. But, on seeing the scare no. of Job postings on Job sites and the difficulty in switching jobs. It seems to be a difficult thing going ahead with Basis. Can anyone advise me?

I worked in the same org for 5.5years and switched in march 2022. I was not allocated a project for 3 months hence changed the org and joined new in July 2022. Now its been 4 months and I am on bench here too with no project proposals coming in. After my HR round today, Hr called up and said that will move forward with the offer but approvals with higher management might take some time as there is a hiring freeze.
Do you think offer will be released? And how much time these approvals take ?

She mentioned at the end that they are definitely going to offer as all feedbacks are positive.
But it all depends on the approvals.
