Hi fellow Fishbowl EA's! I am working, thank the Lord, at a profitable company making okay money, easy work, but...not as an EA and I'm bored. I really want to get back to it so I am interviewing. I am close to landing a really great job that will lead to a Chief of Staff position. I'll be VERY busy and the job is very flux. I will work remote and the company is successful. More money, bonus, boss is a bit of a curmudgeon. Is taking it the right thing? Am I reticent because I'm comfortable?

I am looking for wine decanter tags that are writable. I’d like to find a vintage looking silver option, but they all require engraving. I’m looking for something writable that I can change the label on when I host wine parties and I have a couple decanters on the table. Anyone have something similar and can share a link with me? I’m struggling to find anything that will work, other than writing on clear tape with a sharpie marker 😐

For those of you who have done both, is it better to work at a large or small firm? I'm afraid I'd get lost in the crowd at one of the larger firms, but I'm worried I won't have as many opportunities at a boutique. Would love some insight.

I applied for a Executive Staff Assistant for Kaiser. The range for this position is from $36-42/hr. I’ve been doing Health Admin for 10yrs starting as AD in the AF. I’m also in a Master Program for HCA. Advice on if this is low in CA.

I’ve heard salaries have gone up quite a bit in the midst of the pandemic and I’m wondering if this is true for EAs as well. There’s a myriad of data online about EA salaries depending on age/experience but I’m interested in salaries from jobs accepted in 2020/2021 specifically!

I’ve recently started work at a very young tech startup. Coming from a big law background, this was a huge change of pace/environment. I’m having a lot of trouble getting used to how unstructured the startup is. It feels like hire ups give a set of instructions then talk as if they don’t remember, or then decided rules A, B, C and D applies without being clear this was the case. Is this just the general startup environment? If you experienced this before, how did you deal with It?

Anyone have any suggestions to get your executive better organized with expenses?!? I’ve installed picture apps and that doesn’t seem to work....
