Doesn't seem like a big enough hike to switch, especially if PwC AC is offering permanent or at least extended WFH
GuruGram is a very expensive city.. you travel a couple of days to GuruGram and observe the situation... like apartment rent, traveling fares which must include metro, food expenses .. then decide your own ...
It is still cheaper than Bangalore.
Not been able to comment on the offer as not much details are here, but coming to last question all firms are same and it depends on the project which will be allocated to you.
Ok thanks
Gurgaon is much more expensive than Kolkata and for 5 YOE 15L seems a little low. See if you can negotiate for 17-18.
I wrote my base location is Bangalore not Kolkata and my hometown is delhi only. Currently i am working from home.
Not a good hike but it's better to move away from Kolkata related projects or location as there is a lot of politics and you can only discover this in year end only. If you are non Bengali then it's not a location to work at.
First of all on travelled less comment , I have spent around 4 years in Kolkata. ( total waste of my time and energy when it comes to job sector only )
Secondly, there are few younger generation people who don't believe in this groupism culture not all of them for your information.
Young people also behave similarly when they see that their seniors playing dirty politics in sidelining the outsiders. In short they behave like gang-leaders.😂
And if you think that it's same everywhere then you can ask majority of people working over there from outside Bengal, you will hear the same.
Aur meri koi personal dushmani nhi h bhai Bengal se, Bengalis kafi intelligent hote hain aur art mein to koi mukabla nhi unka lekin ye politics ko jab office mein le ate hain wo galat hai even mere kafi Bengali frnds bhi ye accept krte hain ki Kolkata m bohot office politics h itna kahin nhi hai.
So, that's why I have recommend to not being part of workforce(only service sector) over there if you are non Bengali.
