When do I begin adjusting? It’s been 4 months. I joined as an associate and I feel like sometimes my work is sloppy or I’m overwhelmed. So as a 30ish yo with a government/PE/tech background and CIPM/CIPP… I’m finding privacy work is just much easier and interesting than other kinds, but still pays plenty well.

Is it too late/inadvisable to go to law school to specifically aim for privacy work?

I work in insurance. I was working for an Allstate agent and was fired the day after my grandmothers funeral for being “unenthusiastic in our morning meeting”. Now I’m having anxiety searching for a job. I don’t think I want to sell anymore yet every single recruiter I interview with says I should, that I have a “salesperson mentality”. I’m burnt out.
