~salary question~
*Any resources to research salary expectations are appreciated*
I’m currently expecting an offer this week for an underwriting role at a mid-sized mutual in NJ. I have 3 years mid-market commercial underwriting experience at a smaller mutual company in NJ (+ prior summer internship and insurance degree). What should I expect for salary? I’m thinking 75k? Where can I research this kind of thing?

Hello,

I made it to a third round interview for an operations manager position at JP Morgan Chase. I’m meeting with the director and a couple other members of the team. I was told the third interview is the last and final interview before an offer is extended. Has anyone ever made it to the their final interview and not been offered the job? I know anything is possible but I’m pretty anxious.

Hello FinTech community!
Currently looking to fill 3 headcount in my team at a London based Series D Unicorn FinTech startup.

Specifically I’m looking for experienced Application Security Engineers.

The team, including these roles are 100% remote, although you must be based in the UK.

If working in an office is more your style, we have the option to book desks on an ad-hoc basis.
We’re currently moving to our brand new office, near London Bridge.

Hope to hear from you!

Any particular segment of sales good for ex-finance? Currently 3 years in at fortune 100 bank on business development side (on commercial loan originations team but no commission/targets at the associate level, basically do credit analysis and build pitch books for the producers) This role has been great as I have gotten both analytical experience and tasted sales experience (I say taste bc I’m not the producer) but would potentially like to transition to a sales role that is less analytical

If there is one, what’s the position below Google’s “Business Operations and Strategy Associate”? I’ve got 1.5 YOE in consulting, mainly tech implementation, and this position has a minimum requirement of 3 YOE. I’m looking to move to BizOps / Corp Strategy, but seems unlikely I’d secure this specific position.

Currently working as a Relationship Banker. Haven’t had no complaints with how Chase has handled the pandemic from the consumer banking side. Recently I was asked if I was interested in a Financial solutions advisor role at Bank of America. Things have slowly began to pick up at our branch and while I would like to continue my career at Chase. The bump in base salary increases as well as the earning potential. Any advice on how to make a decision? Things to consider besides pay?

Starting a new position in MM in the UK as audit senior. Was wondering if there’s any specific audit industry I should try to get into that would be helpful for me to transition to TAS (quite interested in doing fp&a industry in the end and heard that TAS would be a good experience). As I’m starting soon, I would like to tailor as much of my portfolio as possible to help me move to TAS. Also which part of TAS is more interesting to people and why (FDD / Valuation)? Thanks!

I am worried that I am being benchmarked on a wrong job title.

Sales Manager vs International Manager or should it be something else?

My employer is based in China, while I am in France. I remotely manage a global sales team, with team members from around the globe. They all work remotely as well.

Being remote, and managing an international remote team, I would like to know what should be my job title? Any idea or professionals that I may contact, please?

Thank you.

It went quite super and there were 4 client panel members. All were quite impressed

Can i consider this as a advantage to ramp up my salary demands by few lakhs than initially agreed?

Does client have any opinion if HCL denies offer due to high salary?

Looking for suggestions

At what point is too late to rescind your acceptance to a job offer? If I sign an offer letter but don’t start the training until a month from now and wouldn’t receive my sign on bonus until my first check can I still shop around for other jobs and decline offer if there’s something better? I know companies spend money onboarding but the offer is contingent upon onboarding so I should be able to have contingency as well
