What are the exit opportunities for an HCM Oracle Cloud consultant with 8 years of experience? What additional skills of experience should I look into to make it easier to leave consulting?

I have 7 YOE and applied for a position that is L4. I feel as if I’m overqualified for the position, but the Recruiter told me that when they say L4, they are actually looking for someone with 6+ years of experience. Is this true? I feel like I should be looking at L5 with my experience

Every time I speak to my director (at least twice a week), he works in how he is getting older into the conversation(humorously). For instance, he forgot something non-work related, said “sign of old age”. He recently told a story, said, this is how old people talk.
