I have been working on CAA for couple of months. I understand that this is a in-house framework within 3DS. But I do not see any openings in the market for the same. So is it worth keeping working on it from a careers perspective?

Recently got a contract job at Facebook NY. I’ve mostly only been a FTE for the entirety of my career, so a bit nervous as I want to eventually be offered FT but feeling a lot of pressure to perform for the next 5 months to prove my worth. At some point it will surely get exhausting. Any tips for how to deal with this? Also curious to know what a mid-level PM normally gets paid as a freelancer?

I currently do securities ops/accounting but want to move into a more client facing role. One of our marketing/client service associates got a promotion, so I’m guessing she’ll be doing higher level work, which may leave a gap for some of the work she used to do. How would I go about asking if I can work on that team in some capacity but still do my current role? I’ve only been there 1 yr and I know my current manager also has some higher level items in securities ops he wants me to do as well.

First-year tax staff that started end of Q3, and just had my first year-end performance evaluation meeting. Still a blank slate in terms of tax experience, but I honestly do have a slight interest in international tax. Brought it up and I was given some names to find some work opportunities in that area. I’m a senior associate and received an offer to join a very profitable client as general counsel that would open lots of doors professionally and financially. Problem is I’m super burned out on law and was planning on quitting law firm in the next few weeks and doing something else with my life. Someone kick some sense into me before I decline the offer.

Need some advice: Last year I left consulting to take a job in industry (a pay cut, but more freedom, WLB). Due to covid I switched to yet another company (same industry). It’s been half a year at the new place and I absolutely hate it. Not the work, but the company genuinely sucks. Considering a) mba for next fall (just as a reset) or b) job hopping yet again. I’m so demoralized that the past two industry jobs have gone so badly. I’m starting to regret not just staying in consulting...

Know this is a long shot, but if I’m counseled out of one MBB, what are the chances I could get an equivalent job at another? And if not another MBB, thinking that a T2 or B4 could be possible? I’m not even sure I want to stay in consulting, but also feel like I didn’t get a fair shot at it

I received a proposal for a Senior Analog Designer role from Bosch in the same city where I am currently working.
Should I wait and build up a few more years of experience before accepting a Senior role or should I jump in and work to fill the gap?

So I used to work for a company where my job was good, was a director of business solutions for a fashion brand. Only issue was that the CFO micromanaged and ended up leaving. My background is digital transformation however I took an infrastructure position to rebuild a provincial healthcare system. Why are town Hall meetings so impersonal? They are all about awards / the number of people hired. I know FCB health is large, but we never hear from people who aren’t Executives. Last town hall, when discussing inclusion efforts, there were no people of color represented and one of the 4 pillars of diversity was centered around our “reputation as an organization” (that really rubbed me the wrong way). At my last agency those conversations were always led by people of color from every level.
