I need some advice. My manager resigned like 5 months ago and they haven’t found someone to fill in that role. We are a small team and we don’t have any lead/senior data scientist in my team. I feel I am lacking mentorship and there is no proper planning for the ongoing projects and is putting me in a stressful situation. I have 2 YOE
Should I switch? Got my appraisal last month though.

P.S. As of now 9 people have rejected the offer for the manager role

I’ll start - I’m an advisor in Wealth Management with TC of $70k, 3 YOE and no side hustle. Among other things, rent just jumped from $2500 to $3700 for 2 bedroom and areas were looking at. I’d like to “make it” here but if it means switching career to make money I’d like to get an idea to make the right job change.

I have a 20+ year career doing AdTech/BI/Analytics in media agencies. Started as an intern, rose up to director and board member at various agencies.

I also have PGDM in finance, and my skills include SQL, python, PowerBI, tableau, familiar with Knime, Alteryx and also PySpark.
