Over the last 12 months my role changed significantlu so in Jan I approached the CEO about a raise and promotion more in line with my work and he said yes - but not until until the end of Q1 when budgets are finalized. Covid hit and I was told all promotions and raises were put on hold. I never got a Q2 review bc my manager said the raise was up in the air still. But on Friday the CEO sent an email listing 17 promotions, not including me. Im meeting w my manager tomorrow but idk what to say.

I have noticed people talking about the importance of positive reviews when considering lateraling— I got my first round of reviews a couple months back and they were very positive, but they reference specific clients and the work we are doing for them. I can’t share this level of detail about clients with a potential employer in the future. Do people actually share their reviews when lateraling?  Would it be appropriate to redact?
