Recently interviewed for TP2 at HCLTech. It was a client round and honestly it felt more like a discussion than a strict interview. They asked a few basic questions related to my current project, automation/testing experience, team collaboration, and overall work exposure. The conversation went well from my side.
After the round, the position status changed to “closed,” so I wanted to understand from others who have gone through the HCL process:

What are actionable items one should strive for when trying to grow as a designer after landing their first role? I hear a lot about ways to grow to land the first job but very little about how to improve after you know the basics.

👉Just ask for it. Really, you would be surprised. Might be easier to switch to a new company and ask. I did that 3 years into my career.

And 🛑 wasting your time at a company that under-values you severely. Sometimes switching companies every 2 years or so will allow you to keep raising the bar for yourself.
