I have given my interview in HCL and cleared 1 TP, 1 hcl manager & Client TP and Client Manager rounds .
In initial screening HR told the generic statement of 30-40% and I have given my ask as 50% minimum. After clearing the rounds I heard from the project team that Client has given great feedback and wanted to take me in .
What is the % I can ask in HR Discussion and will they reject in HR if I ask more now .
I have 9.5 years total experience and role is Storage Architect.

If you go for interview and you sort of know that the person interviewing you might be curious about something on your negative on your resume like why is there a gap or why were you in XX role for so long?

Do you address it pre-emptively? Or does that show insecurity and you leave the elephant in the room and wait till they ask you?

I guess this is more in the case of networking than interview like do you make your own story?

I had a small query that I have been interviewed for a role in Deloitte in October 2020 and I have not cleared the interview then after again I had applied and cleared the interview and got the LOI also but the time gap is not exactly 6 months between the two interviews will it be a problem to get my offer letter.?

Hello I just started my first job (I’m 22) and I need to set up a 401k for matching with my company. I’m really confused how this works because I want to try to hit the IRS maximum of $19,500 for Roth contributions this year. Maybe it’s too late in the year now, but it’s asking me to pick my desired contribution % per pay period, but I’m not sure how much to do because it says it’ll kick in 1-2 pay cycles and I don’t even know when the next pay check comes yet. Can you name a firm (preferably NY office) that lets its associates work from a different country with no issues? The mid-size firm I’m currently at has been very flexible during covid but I’m looking to change firm (biglaw). Since my family is abroad I find it extremely valuable to be able to do this (I did this even before covid for a couple of weeks, twice a year).
