Sopra Steria process is taking too long. First round was in March, then almost a 1-month gap for the second round in April end. After the client round, HR said I’m almost selected and asked me to negotiate early release for May-end joining.

But my LWD (June 16) was already transparent from the beginning. I’m hesitant to push my current employer without written confirmation. I informed HR, but now there is complete silence for a week.

Can I consider this as rejected and move on?

I have completed interview with vous and HR has send me indicative breakup and asking me to resign from the current company because offer letter is taking time.


Should I resign on the basic of breakup communication or wait for offer letter ?

Is it good to get stocks as part of CTC which has 4 years vesting period?

CTC looks high due to this stocks but effectively i would not be getting it for the 4 years. Also the yearly hike includes this stock component.

CTC had fixed, variable and stock part. Variable and stock is almost 30% of total ctc.

One of my family members is diagnosed with breast cancer and I have to take care of her. I have been working from home (1.6 Yr) since the joining in my present organization. But now, they are saying if I resign due to any reason then I have to serve notice period (90 days) from office that too in night shift 3:00 to 12:00. My office is in different state.
