What is the process followed in LTI for asking for promotion. Any one has gone through the process. Can you share your experience. Who decides promotion is it the BU or manager should nominate from the team.

I have an offer from LTI, my joining date is in next 2 days. Today only I got an offer for higher package from another company. If I try to negotiate with LTI will they entertain in such a last moment.
I want to join LTI but with higher package.. Please suggest what would be a wise step here in my situation.
