Additional Posts in Offer Negotiations
I am going to have the final HR round with 6sense for Adoption Consultant role. I have 3.5 years of experience in Salesforce and Leadsquared as a senior business analyst. Before the interview, I told the HR that my current package is 16 and my expectation is anything above this.
During the HR round, she would definitely ask about my expected CTC, can anyone please help me with that. What amt to quote as the CTC range isn't available for this role & org in any platform.6sense Insights, Inc

I think you have asked fair enough but for initial offers usually what I see is HR get hesitant to even give 100% offer on current, so I would suggest that initially you quote around 100% i.e. 2x of your current salary and then lookout for more with counter.

Offer is always depends on your current CTC and the job role you have applied. They never share offer without seeing the current one. Even if they agreed verbally, then it may reduce based on your current CTC. So to be on safe side you can ask 100% - 120%, on negotiation.
Correct. They will never offer anything asked. I have never got more than 80 percent no matter what is budget. Atleast in big product companies.... So important to improve cctc.
What is your current CTC?

If your base salary + esops amount to 42L then you should have asked for min 30% hike on top of this and asked this as overall CTC expectation. Esops are an important part of the salary but only if you are working in a public company. Which org you are currently working in?
