I have fedex full stack developer 1 offer letter and coming from service based company i wanted to know the work culture here and i have been offered around 14 lpa for this position, i wanted to have a joining bonus now but ansr is handling the hr operations and my hr is very arrogant i dont know how to talk to her about joining bonus. It will be very helpful if someone can evaluate the ctc i have been offered on 2.5 yrs of exp.

Also what inhand i will be getting a rought idea only

I went well and he mentioned that feedback is good, they will match CTC of 37 LPA which is offered by other organization and also give good number of RSU's.

How much RSU's I can expect and how's its value is calculated in qualys?

Cognizant- 21L fixed and 1.5L variable
PWC - 22L fixed

This is for a guidewire role.
Which is a better offer? What would be a good option for growth wrt role, salary etc.
Also, PWC claims to offer variable based on their fixed CTC based on the ratings.. is this true ? How much is the avg percentage given?

I asked for a raise in April 2022 after three years with my company. Positive feedback since day one. Learned I was making less than peers at other asset managers in NYC with less experience (14 years). Latest conversation was with HR about how they calculate salaries. I’ve been asked to provide examples how my role has changed since I started to justify the increase. Is this normal? Or is this just their way of denying my request?

I recently found out I was “promoted” or giving a higher title, same pay. I was told HR was updating employees titles based on the work they do… Is that even a thing?? My mid yr review is coming, should I just ask for more money?

My sister and I have recently both come to the realization that our parents guilt us into spending time with them or visiting them and the guilt causes us both to shut down.
