I have 7.5years of experience and holding offers from IBM (18LPA Gross annual) and Capgemini(18LPA Gross annual+2lakh Varible pay) for ETL (ODI) skillset. Also have an offer from Oracle in presales domain for OCI + ODI where the job is to build pilot project with package (18LPA gross annual + 7lakh variable pay). Please suggest which one should I join.

How has project level interaction with leadership (SMs and PPMDs) changed in your firms during the pandemic?

Manager here and it seems to have really degraded in my world. Last few projects SM's and MD's have basically had zero time for the team. Deliverables get reviewed last minute and shredded. I suspect they're either really busy selling or managing more projects than usual.

Never worked with people in our tech practice before until this project. Do they teach all technology managers to pretend like the world is going to end over every minuscule item?

Our firm has a marketing budget for every associate and there are no specific rules about how to use it. As a junior associate, I don’t have any clients who I can buy dinner with. Help me out here. I can’t wrap my mind around the logic of releasing your Super Bowl spot online early. Like weeks early.

I get the need to hit different targets.
I get that clients want metrics ASAP.
I get that “generating buzz” is the name of the game.

But why the order of: release full spot online -> hope for traction/buzz -> spend millions run it during SB -> hope for...buzz 2.0?

Why not: tease as needed -> drop SB spot -> follow up buzz/chatter tactics?

I recently hired an employee of his company (w/o telling him during the interviewing process). He found out from the employee and he felt betrayed by me. He said I shouldn’t have interviewed this person because this guy plays a key role in his company given our special relationship. What would you do in my situation?
