How many us have had management demanding us/team to compensate/stretch for others leave in the name of deadlines & team work but not extending our timelines or reducing existing deliverables.

I have seen it a lot & quite often found people bitching abt absentee but not the employer who is infact in a way getting team to pay of each other's leaves. Isn't this wage theft ?

I don't follow pop. culture anymore, no longer actively follow team sports (but sporty myself) as I consider it bread and circus for the masses and don't rly enjoy work drinks... Am I doomed? Personally I am happy and love the work but fear for my career progression.
