Hi all, I currently work for a mid-size non profit after graduating from university last May. My main role is recruiting, but I really would like to move to the ER side. My degree is not in HR, so I was going to stay at this role for a year to start working on my SHRM. Does anybody have any tips on moving into more ER related roles from recruiting? Thank you!

Could someone help me break down the differences between a Data Analyst vs Data Scientist vs Product Manager? And add any pros/cons from personal experience? In my mind they’re all related, but I don’t have experience working with any of these roles.

Coming up on one full year at an ID firm. Feeling overwhelmed with my experience so far. I’ve received minimal training/feedback unless it was on something I messed up. It feels like the expectations don’t align with my level of experience. I have a case load of 45-55 with very little oversight or involvement from partners. Turnover is extremely high, as I’m the second longest tenured associate in the office. Looking for some guidance on whether this is the norm or not. Compensation is low 80’s.

So I have my bachelors in criminal justice and I just finished my paralegal certificate course today. My attorney should be making partner this year. With that being said I told her that I would complete my certificate by the summer around the time she would make partner. I want to switch and I have a very good offer with me. However everytime I think about resigning I get scared and I’ve this slight hope of something good happening in my current org. The culture and environment in my current org is very good. However I don’t enjoy the work I’m doing here. I don’t know what exactly holds me back from switching but this issue has started affecting my mental health.

Just wanted to know if this happens with everyone while switching or am I the only one.

How is Infosys Consulting as an organization? I heard that it is different than its other entities (Infosys BPM, Infosys Ltd, etc.) and is doing good with projects and quality of work.
