I want to share very bad experience I had at Mastercard
I was given offer by Mastercard in month of Dec The hike was less but looking at brand & other perks I accepted the offer & was looking forward to joining them.I got few offers & I went back to them for sole purpose of renegotiating CTC, to have a industry standard hike. They didn't reverted back for 2-3 days & just dropped a mail that they are revoking initial offer as well on grounds that they didn't like i gave other interview

I have a current CTC of 6.6 and Mastercard is offering 8.9 (including variable ) . I also have an offer from infosys of 10 ( including variable). Which one should I pick considering work life balance and appraisal.My entire doubt is that will they bring me on market rate after appraisals as currently they are not offering very good hike.

Mastercard is good option along with American Express.
You can decide based on project and skills required
Don't expect much hike since you will be at high base.
L6 doesn't guarantee high base.
This person is accomodated for this CTC in L6.
For example a lot of L6 are getting more pay than L5.
Band doesn't mean you will be always paid at above the range.
Choose between AMEX and Mastercard with a preference to AMEX.
Both orgs are good but with Mastercard as others have stated there is a bit of uncertainty currently.

Avoid Mastercard currently because there is a lot of uncertainty currently. American express is a much better option
Avoid Mastercard, lot of reorganisation going on and always rumours about layoffs. also you are joining at higher base with this yoe at Mastercard so do not expect much increments
Check once with someone at Am express and if conditions are better there then join
Conditions are same there too
If conditions with restructuring and job security is same between Amex and Mastercard.
In that case you can choose Mastercard.

Ok so comparatively it’s a good prospect wrt your tech stack and other offers that you have. However you need to be aware that current situation of Mastercard is bit tricky as there are news of layoffs. DM if you need to know more

Avoid mastercard. Not a safe bet looking at market situation. Leadership has shuffled and lot of restructuring happened. AWS and Java are not niche skills so you can become vulnerable. Also depends on what team you are tagged to. Go with Amex. It has lot of potential and salary hikes are amazing.
Amex is not as good as people say atleast in finance. Colleagued abroad don’t respect your work timings and you are often forced to stretch long hours as per their timings. Petty politics from managers. Do research on the team before joining.
