I really think that the insurance policy given by mediassist is way more expensive for parental insurance, means who will pay for 50k+ premium and that too for large copay, I guess the leadership team should intervene here....Parental insurance is really important for any employee and most of the time is only needed.
Recently I used parental insurance and found that the insurance company only paid for 50% of the total bill.

Does anyone here work for Silicon Valley Bank? They recently acquired Boston Private. I’m a candidate for a job at Boston Private. Wondering if SVB is planning layoffs in the near term at BP? Also, does anyone know the anticipated benefits to be rolled out from SVB as the parent company? Specifically interested in health insurance providers. Thanks in advance for any information! I would say United would be better for you if you fly united mostly as well as their benefits seem to be a lot more than capital one venture card.
Let me know if you decide with Venture X. i’ll split the referral bonus
I'd go with Capital One Venture. Much more flexibility and options than pigeon-holing yourself with United. You never know if you find a cheaper flight with another airline. At least you'll still be able to get points with C1.
I have the Capital one venture card and I abolutely love it. It has really great persk.
I will do the capital one venture. It has more perks than an airline credit card.
I would definitely stick to CapitalOne tbh, or go for a Chase card and book your flights through the portal. Wouldn't get just a United card though
Debating on this as well. Following on some good insights here. What SA1 said makes total sense to me.
