Java developer with 8.4 years of experience. I have a joining in next 2 days.

HCL is offering 28 including variables, approx. 25 is fixed.
Cognizant is offering 25.5 including 70k variable and 2 lac JB. Cognizant is not negotiating further.

WLB is really important for me. What do you think fishes?

Have an interview coming up for a technical specialist role at Microsoft. Can anybody please share what to expect in the interview and what would be a ballpark TC? It’s in the biz apps org and the recruiter said the level would be decided after the interview.

I would love to work in financial industries, but I dont know if having a Big 4 name would open more doors in future, or if $25k is too much to pass up on. Any input is appreciated :)

Questions about job hopping-
My average tenure at a company is ~1.5 years (with ~11 YOE), but each jump I've made has yielded progressive/tangible career growth.

I got offer letter from mastercard with joining date as 14 nov and my LWD is 23 nov.. So i informed HR and they agreed that revised joining date will be provided as per LWD screenshot from current organization.

Now I have done follow up multiple time and they are saying they will do it and keep trust on them but not providing ETA.
