Hi Fishes, I have received an offer from Barclays for AVP position. But the role discussed during interview was for Tech Delivery Manager whereas the offer letter mentions it as Tech Delivery Lead. Can you guys please suggest if it is the same role or should I request recruiter to get the role updated? Moreover it would be great if any of you can shed some light on the prospects/challenges of this role based on your experiences. Barclays Barclays global service center

Hello Everyone!
I have done my bachelor's in mechanical engineering and master's in engineering management for process excellence from the uni of Glasgow and uni of Strathclyde respectively. I'm currently looking for jobs and have 2 years of running my own company. I'd be glad if anyone can help me with this and guide me accordingly. It would be ideal if I could get anything in process/operations but I'm flexible and am open to explore new areas.
Regards,
Aman

CEO will usually defer to his managers for hiring decisions unless he brings them in or decides you aren't a fit.
Sounds like you prepared thoroughly and impressed all the way through. By what you have mentioned above it sounds like a high chance you will get an offer.
What was the purpose of the final interview with CEO?
Did he ask or dig deeper into anything? As I imagine he is making the final call and would want to validate if you are the right hire.
I’m not sure what the purpose of the CEO meeting was - maybe just to see who they could potentially be hiring.
The CEO just asked me basic questions such as about my background, what I am doing currently and what challenges I have faced and how I was able to overcome them.
Then he opened the floor for any questions I have. After some back and forth, he said it was nice meeting you and the recruiter will get in touch. How long is the average wait time before a recruiter gets in touch with either an offer or rejection?
