Just founded a startup, but been coasting at FAANG. I want to challenge myself to do more (maybe chase promotion or take more responsibility), but I’m afraid it will take away from my ability to spend time working on the startup if I stop coasting. I’ve never been a coaster and it’s hard for me to just be an “average” employee, but feel it’s the right thing to do so I can focus on the startup which is my ultimate goal. Anyone have advice?

Question related to Perm - My firm is in the process of filling a GC for me. They are 75% done in terms of timeline to get an I-140. Now I decided to move to another state, and they are telling me that they will restart the GC process. Does it make sense for me to tell them that I will move back to my current location once my priority date gets current? Or should I let them refile (which might take another 2 years to process)?

I have an offer from a good bank in Copenhagen,DK for a IT position for base salary 600,000 DKK ( 50k per month ) before taxes. Retirement, insurance will be added on top of this package further.

While in India I hold a fixed package of about 27LPA.

I am a single person, no family obligations yet.
