In your situation my opinion would be to take offer from LTC and ask for raise. Joining on same CTC makes no sense.
On normal situation I don't recommend people to join LTC as I know couple of Data Engineer who are in bench for more than 5-6 months.
Keep looking for better opportunities while you are on your notice period.
Is it a Service Based Company?
Hi everyone,
I’m seeking some advice regarding a career decision. I am currently working for a company with a US-based telecom client in an Azure Data Engineer position. I have 3 years of experience, and the work has been good so far I joined 4 months ago . However, I found out that my role is actually a contractor position, which I only discovered after joining 3 months ago.
The company mentioned that they would offer full-time employment by October or November. However, because the position is client-based, there is a risk of termination if we receive any negative feedback from the client recently got 2-3 people that's why I'm bothering This is particularly concerning because the company only has 4-5 clients in total, making the situation quite precarious.
Recently, I received an offer from Lloyds for a GCP Data Engineer position. This offer includes my current CTC and a 1.5 joining bonus.
I am feeling quite confused and concerned about which direction to take. Should I stay with my current company and hope for full-time employment at October , or should join lloyds ?
I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or advice from the group.
Thank you for your support!
