When did you feel like you were successful? People around me think it’s impressive that I work at Deloitte; however, I’m miserable and hate the work I’m doing. Just accepted another job that others would deem a dream company and salary but I’m just afraid of being miserable there too. I just don’t feel like I’m good enough, will be happy, or be in a position where I feel like I’m successful as others.
Anyone hiring a junior CW in New York?
Currently looking for jr copywriter job, but I’m seeing mostly copywriter jobs that require 2-3 yrs. My other option seems to be an internship. What’s the likelihood of a jr copywriter position?
Any GSAP alum that returned to the firm for 2 years and then left? If so, where did you go and how did you navigate there? Mostly interested to see how folks were able to leverage their MBA networks to spring back to another opportunity 2-3 years later at manager level. Did anyone use their previous internship to secure an opportunity at that company?
What level would you move to in a pharma company (strategy role) with 6 years of experience in Life Sciences consulting? I’m seeing ADs with at least 5 years more experience. Manager profiles seem to be more aligned with my experience, but I’m not sure if the salary is higher for manager than where I’m at (62k base)
Hi folks, My brother joined TCS 3 month back.. from day 1 he is in project. Deployed in client project. But they have given him admin role instead of development. they haven't provided any KT also they are not helping in anything like getting license etc. And forcing them to take task. He had discussion with product owner , architect. But no solution . Still they are forcing. Also role is independent and nobody in team knows that work. Please suggest what to do in this case.

i have to post about this saga again, because i’m shooketh. after 4 rounds + assignment + being strung along with no concrete feedback for a month, i finally get on the phone with the hiring manager. says i wowed and impressed them so much with my work that they threw out everyone else’s, kept mine, and are starting a new candidate pool to have someone to compare me against, RATHER than hire me. they said theyd come back to me with a final decision within the month. WHAaaaAAAt. OG thread here: https://joinfishbowl.com/post_1g7v4u
How much better are your exit opportunities once you become a manager? I’m currently a senior consultant and on track to make manager next year. Have a couple of offers in my hands contd

Does anybody know the rough range on an Amazon Senior Vendor Manager? The recruiter claimed they could beat my Amazon post MBA offer two years ago, but I’m skeptical.
How is the culture/WLB at EY Cyber in London? Any big differences to the other Big 4? Seeing a few openings on their website and just wanted to understand if it’s worth exploring them...
I’m possibly moving into a new position as Engagement/Performance manager after a little less than a year and I was wondering if you have any advice for a young woman just starting her career and moving into a higher position so fast.
I recently got a verbal offer from KPMG strategy. Is that more prestigious than like, most other firms? Like, I know MBB is done with recruiting; I feel like below MBB for name recognition is the Big 4 and other firms aren’t as reputable. I’m trying to decide whether or not I should interview and apply to other firms or just take this one (assuming a written offer ever comes along). Also, I prioritize work culture and exit opportunities over salary, but don’t want to be paid below poverty line.
Unsure where to go post MBA graduation with offers to PwC (DDV), KPMG (Strategy), and ACN (Finance & Risk). Where would you go and why?
For those who exit to industry, do you find recruiters lowball? They often quote a salary based on YOE and their standard pay - often lower because their salary progression is slower. 4YOE at consulting you make $120k~$150k but they quote $100k because that’s how they pay their homegrown analysts. Nobody thus far thinks 4y at consulting is worth 5-6 YOE, I’ve even met someone who only match me to their 2-3 YOE analyst because they think their program is more prestigious and want to hold me back.
What salary should I target moving to industry? I have no idea what is reasonable. I’m in a HCOL area, senior with 3 years of experience. Currently making 100k in public.
What's the vibe like over at Havas Health?
Senior Buyer whose specialty is electronic components with 27 years of experience. Recently ended up in the medical world and realizing I under sold myself. Management asked me to do an analysis and come up with a number. My current salary is 82k. In our industry with the same experience etc. jobs are posted for up to 108k. Management mentioned that they want to keep people and they pay their worth. I got this position through a recruiter. Any information good bad or indifferent is appreciated!
Does anyone know what the typical compensation package is at Capital One for a Director of Product Management in their NYC office?

Hi all! Will any kind fish be willing to read my resume and give me feedback? I’ve been applying to different position but haven’t had any luck. Someone mentioned it is too specialized but I would love that a new set of eyes could read it to make it more appealing to consulting recruiters. Would really appreciate it :)
Do you think firms will update expense policies to allow for reimbursable overtime meals in the remote environment (rather than only allowing reimbursement for meals consumed on site)?
Where’s the best consultancy to work at for digital people? Who has a great culture and supports there people? Convince me why I should work at your company.
It’s interesting to see a lot of sales people want to learn about OTEs but nobody asks about quotas related to OTEs. Most companies make OTEs look attractive and then demand massive quotas and only 20-30% of people hit goals. I’m curious to learn about marketplace commission rates. What’s your quota target? What’s your commission % paid on every dollar up to 100% ? And what’s offered in accelerators above 100%?
Hi Folks, Do you guys know, if Accenture is going to discontinue ATCI skill bonus in near future? TIA

Currently in financial services tax WAM federal group at B4, manager. Seriously considering the exit and have been applying actively in various industries (not the typical PE or hedge funds in house role). Which industry is the best in terms of growth opportunities and pay? Fintech? Info/technology? E-learning? My end goal is becoming a head of tax and I want to choose my first industry role wisely. Don't want to get pigeonholed into a dying industry.
A coworker this week told me I look 13. I know I have a baby face but that’s so rude! I should have told her she looked 50 (she’s not 50)
