I was hired at my company fully remote and then they brought us back to office 4 days in and 1 day home. It’s just not conducive for me and I’d really love any opportunity to work remote. I apply to so many postings and never hear back or get declined for the spot.

After spending 40 yrs in education. As a special Ed high school teacher, what kind of part time job can I do either from home or close by?

It looks like a distant luxury now.

I was recently hired by my dream agency. I get creative freedom, flexible hours, and I can work from home if I feel like it. Always keep looking for better opportunities, you never know when one might show up!

WFH Vs WF Office Vs Hybrid, Which one should you take?
If you are fresher, go for a WF Office setup. You will learn things beyond your work. In the initial phase of of your career, one needs to focus more on learning than on comfort. The interactions at office, meeting with collegues, conversations at the cafeteria, sense of responsibilty, the need to walk up on time to reach office etc will shape you for better.

Once you have a work experience of few year then any setup is fine. Go for WFH.

Does UBS provide laptop?
I am hearing from HR that laptops are not issued. If that is the case how does WFH happen and how does flexibility work?

I started full time at an agency mid pandemic so have never once worked in the office. I find myself working 50+ hour weeks even from home. Everyone who says "I can't wait to be back at the office" - are they really serious? To tack on commute time and public transit anxiety, wake up at the crack of dawn. Will working from the office somehow decrease the work load and increase productivity? Genuinely curious who wants to go back and why.

He has over 10 years of experience with hardware and software troubleshooting in a Windows 10 environment. Skills include Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, server support, & A/V support. Resume available on request. Located in Raleigh NC or remote is fine.

Left PA and started industry remotely. Haven’t been in the office. Met my team one time. Tips are to always be on video for even the smallest of calls. Take a ridiculous amount of notes. In downtime, go through your notes and come up with questions by reperforming old work. Set up recurring question sessions with your team so you know what to do next time. Set up performance meetings even monthly because it’s hard to get a gauge on your performance

Is it reasonable to ask for three weeks before joining a new company? I was thinking a two week notice and a week vacation to take a breath. What do you think ?
