Hi! I’m new to fishbowl and thought this might be a good place to ask: do employers really consider international applicants? I’m an American trying to move to London so step 1 is applying to jobs and then for a visa but I feel like the job hunting and application process is different from what I’ve learned in the US. For example, I’ve been taught to follow up and ask for feedback to stand out but is that too pushy? Any tips or guidance for applying to jobs in London is greatly appreciated!

Interviewed for Meta exactly 2 weeks ago today. Contacted the recruiter last Tuesday and they said they were waiting to hear back from the hiring manager to discuss the interview results. Anyone that interviewed or gotten a job with Meta how did it take from the onsite to get your decision? My scenario is i have decent offer but i dont like to join there because of location issue and im looking for jobs in new tech where i have less exp.

Considering this even though if i have less knowlege and if i perform a decent interview process will i get offers at the last moment?Is the offers during the late notice is given based on as he can join early even his performance is average during interview. Pls share
