Hi! I'm preparing for a virtual portfolio review followed by a series of 8 'breakout sessions' as the final phase of interview process at Apple. Curious if anybody has gone thru that? And if so... could throw any tips my way? I've been thru the Amazon 'loop' and this Apple process feels a lot more 'human', which is refreshing.

I have 1 job offer that is an hour away and pays 45k, after negotiations (Research Associate Position at a University) .

I have just interviewed for a position closer to home and a base salary of 65k, but haven’t heard back from them in about 2 days (He said he would make a decision by yesterday and I’ve reached out).

Last Tuesday, I had a partner interview with PwC Australia. Partner told me that I would receive a result until the end of previous week. But I haven’t received it yet. I emailed Responsible recruiter last Friday but the feedback was not available at that time. Today I decided to follow up again regarding interview result and she told me that she has received feedback and wanted to call me tomorrow. Does it mean that she will give reason for rejection? I have friends that have back office positions but never received an offer letter & their company still doesn’t use them now. Has anyone given notice & started a new position without an offer letter? Do international companies provide something else in lieu of a formal offer letter? I know offer letters aren’t legally binding anyhow, but seems they’d provide something. (International = Canada)

Is it a red flag to not use your current employer as a reference or would this not be noticed? I have other references I want to use who I think can better attest to my skills for the job but don’t want it to raise any questions.

Hi, I have a 2 part question:

I did a “meet the team” interview 2 weeks ago and now the hiring manager set up a call on Tuesday. Is it safe to assume that’s a call to extend an offer?

If that’s a reasonable assumption, could I let another company (finished interviews last Friday) know ahead of time on Monday that I’m expecting an offer in the hopes of speeding up their decision making?

I had a panel interview two weeks ago. I sent the recruiter a status check email last Friday and haven't heard back. I'm really interested in this company and still see the role posted on their site. I'd like to send another email today (to the hiring mgr and recruiter) reiterating my interest along with a list of references. Thoughts on sending the references without them asking? I don't do well with panel interviews and I'm hoping they look past that and check my references.
