San Mateo is nice bc it’s right between SF and Menlo Park, plus quick access to the bridge to Oakland and also an easy drive to Half Moon Bay.
Thanks a lot everyone. We are switching focus to Mountain View and Sunnyvale now given it’s a lot closer to work.
I live in Novato and absolutely love the north bay. It’s beautiful and possibly less crowded than east and South Bay. If you love nature and being outdoors, that’s the place to be. Marin County in general is pretty safe. Plus The fog doesn’t make it to Novato!
I actually live on the border of San Mateo and Burlingame. Both are great towns with lots to do in my opinion!
Live in Daly City. Everything is accessible.

Consider Redwood City if you plan on going into the office frequently. San Mateo is not bad either. San Jose is a long commute, Fremont/union city even more so.
