In Barclays onboarding app, I am getting starting from today but hr told me that my name is not there in the list and i have also not recieved any mail from onboarding team regarding process. What to do in that case? MY earlier DOJ was 27 apr last week i requested Hr to make is 20 apr.

Anyone please let me know what to do in this case? ( HR is on leave today)

Are private companies easier to work at than public companies in accounting? We have such an accelerated close deadline at the publicly traded company I’m at now, I really hate the inflexible tight deadlines and analysis seems to drag on forever after that. We also close AP/AR very early in the month yet that doesn’t stop payments/receipts from happening so we’re constantly adjusting our accruals until the end of month. Do private companies start their close after the month actually ends?
