I just went though one for PM. Didn’t go so well in my opinion. Normally do great in these but used to a 10-15 min resume related/back ground questions. Turned into a full behavioral interview that I was not mentally ready for.
Give me examples of Handling multiple projects at once.
Give me an example of when you faced ambiguity.
Why this specific role at Microsoft. Even though I explained this in my overview, yet was asked again.
Have you worked with a legal teams before. (Based on job description, the role will be working with legal teams).
What tools have you used to manage your projects.
Experience with working with engineering teams.
Give me an example of a time you had to convince senior leadership and change their mind.
How often to you interact with senior leaders.
Basically all the deep dive behavioral questions that are normally a part of the next round. Didn’t expect this at all and was mentally exausted as well from my current work. Felt like I bombed but we’ll see in a week...
Also long pauses in between questions as the screener was typing my responses. This made it seem a a little awkward.
