You should develop a good relationship with the Chanel sales associate. Text her to see if they can order the bag for you. And anytime you’re in DC just pop into the store to say hi and check out other bags.

Hi! I can explain the process. Typically you can’t just go in and expect to get whatever bag you want. It has to be in the right season, or something that didn’t get sold already a previous season. Stores don’t always know what they’re going to get. This is where having a relationship helps because the SAs get a catalogue with descriptions of the bags coming out, and can notify you if something comes in that you wanted (or similar). This is also why the resale market is strong because if you want a specific item you have to be lucky enough to have found it in the store when they receive it. My suggestion is you can call a random location (like Boston) and ask them if they have it in stock and if they don’t if any other locations have it and could ship it to you. I have successfully done this before if I see a specific item on the website that just came out. Sometimes they’re more willing to because it’s a quick over-the-phone sale for them.
JulieRoseBoston on Instagram has a ton of Chanel and much of it is brand new in box. For classic item that is new it would be more expensive than in the store, but might be an option if you aren’t able to find what you want in store. Good luck!
Yeah go in and get someone’s business card and if you can keep in touch to get updated on when they get the bag or if they can order it for you. That way you won’t have to keep going in or calling the customer service line.
Also, they will be able to contact other stores to see when they have it and can quickly check other stores stores’ availability
Echoing the same, try to build an SA relationship it will make things easier!
They didn’t have it when I was at the store either. This is Tysons. You can order it with an SA. You would have to give them your credit card info and they’ll call you when it arrives.
