I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

Yes it does matter Deloitte doesn't know what they're talking about because we have a slightly different model. For Variable comp using PTO/Training will not count against your utilization.
The only thing that matters is client billable hours
Maybe I should have asked this another way.
Is taking PTO while on the bench better for utilization versus using the unbilled code?
Doesnt matter
@k1 so use PTO strategically while on the bench so utilization isn't negatively effected?
This seems pretty obvious? Think about client billable hours vs PTO and being on the beach/bench. The answer will come to you.
Yeah, isn't PTO built into our denominator?
Matters 0.0%
Yeah K1 is right, in the last 18 mo or so, K rolled out adjusted utilization - don't know how widely it's used in all practices but it does exist and is tracked. Takes training and PTO out of your denominator
