Publicis Sapient is trying to retain me with a developer role (post 2 interview rounds, currently working as BA) with a promise of contract to full time coversion in 2-3 months. At the same time incedo is forcing me to join early at double salary. Publicis is giving WFH and WLB. Incedo is full WFO. What should I do? Please suggest. I want to join Sapient.

I'll be applying for a Service Desk manager position in the coming months. I'm looking to get a realistic salary range (online ranges vary drastically). I have 7 years experience in IT end user support. 4 years of these 7 years include having direct reporting employees in a supervisory role.

I have a CD that gets extremely flustered when you ask them for their opinion on a solution. For example after showing them multiple color pallets and CD not quite liking any of them (real Goldie locks moment) i suggested why not we do (fill in three colors here), the CD freezes up and gets annoyed because they don’t want to say yes or no without seeing it in front of them. Working on tight turn arounds and a cd who is too busy for meetings it proving tough with remote working. Any tips?

I recently joined Swiss Re at 30lpa, pretty good manager and work culture. Got a hike of 10% in 3 months without me asking for it. But got an offer from another company which I was interviewing for before joining here and they are offering a base of 45lpa. But they're saying that they'd discuss the offer only after the other company that I'm interviewing with has come up with an offer first. There's been a delay from HRs of the companies in a similar way. How do I urge them to send me the offer letter without sounding pushy? I had reached out to some of the HRs myself. Would that be too awkward if I accept & back out their offer?
