Hi Sharks, I just received a mail that I need to raise Canada Work Visa request through 1c. My question is what happens to the medical insurance when I am posted in Canada? Obviously I cannot take my dependents (Wife, 4yo kid and 70 yo Mom) to Canada first time I go there. Will the insurance still be valid in India while I work onshore?

Looking for a Delta rewards card and was going to go with Amex, but internationally Amex isn’t widely accepted and I already have the Gold. I’d like to replace my JetBlue Mastercard with a no foreign transaction fee Delta card (don’t mind a fee for the card). Is there a good Delta non-Amex option? At what point does the value of a degree fall off? I'm in my early 30s, and have five years of experience, and work on a very theoretically interesting project. I believe I'm on track to promotion in the next year. So, I could put in a year of full time school to check the box off, but I'd be sacrificing hobbies and social life (not to mention cost). Husband and I have been TTC for almost a year. His semen analysis came back all normal with the exception of morphology at 1% (Kruger Strict criteria). Anyone have insights into morphology and it’s impacts on fertility? From what I’ve read and after talking to our fertility specialist morphology seems subjective.

TMI… 7 weeks and have been struggling with constipation (also 2 months post egg retrieval = lots of hormones). Have tried stool softeners, laxatives, Metamucil… now it is literally just tiny bits of mucus coming out, no normal BM. Has been 10 days since I took a laxative. Has this happened to you? Are there any debt consolidation options for a professional family man with a decent credit score, who's let high interest credit card debt get out of hand? ADHD medication with high Blood Pressure?

I found ADHD meds helpful when I worked in consulting in my 20s. I stopped the meds when I went back to school. Also have had High BP since late 20s. 15 years away, I am back in consulting and loving it, however my difficulties juggling so many projects/tasks is holding me back. I know I would benifit from some ADHD medication but my Dr won’t prescribe any with my history of BP (controlled with BP meds). Anyone else gone through this? Any tips?

6 months pregnant and just laid off. And 40% of my severance was just taken in taxes .. I just spoke with paid family leave and I no longer qualify even though I had been paying into the program (thanks NY).. I already applied for unemployment but doctors are telling me I’ve got 10-14 weeks left in this pregnancy.. so stressed having twins and being unemployed, no maternity leave, no paychecks coming in, and I’ve been applying but not a single interview.. just ugh. 😭

I have attended two interviews with cognizant for the same role. From that, I have got an offer letter from one panel and I am discussing with the HR about to make some salary revise.
Unfortunately, the second panel also processed my profile and it got short listed and they come back for a talk to process the offer letter. Now the first panel HR called me and asked about the second process why it got happened.
Does this results in any drawback for the offer letter i have got already?
