Hi there, I am looking for remote nursing jobs in New Hampshire. I have my compact nursing license, my BSN and have been a nurse for almost 6 years. Before that, I was an LNA. I come with experience. I can’t seem to get an interview for these types of jobs. Ill get eyes on my applications, will get a call back and then turned away due to having a compact license. For ex. I got a call back from A company out of Maine but says I need a Maine license. Anyone else have this issue?

What’s the point in having a compact license if I can’t work in states without the actual state license? Any guidance would be appreciated!

like

Maine appears to be a member, but I've run into the same issue with other NLC states too. I think its a decision made by the organization/company at that point.

Thank you! I’m glad I haven’t been the only one to experience this.

I recently started with CareMetx and I’m working fully remote, the onboarding process was pretty seamless

like

That's odd. You're right - what's the point? Keep looking. There's still a shortage, so I'm sure you'll find something soon. Good luck!

Thanks! I just wasn’t sure if it was a recruiter error or if this is standard. Thanks for the reply!

Also I have a compact license as well

Remote care providers was another one I came across

Anyone else stuck in a job because they don't want to lose maternity benefits?

I'm actively looking to have children. Medical advice tells me not to put it off at all, it's now or potentially never.

I have been approached about new jobs, have found jobs that are perfect but they don't offer anything above the statutory mat payments unless you have been there for a year or two at least. As the main breadwinner stat payments would be devastating for us.

Anyone else stuck?

Just started my first job at a mid size firm. Still awaiting bar results. The firm practices general civil lit - mainly defense (ID, prem liability, labor law, tort defense etc.) but some partners do plaintiff’s work too. So far they’ve had me working mainly on ID cases. I never knew people hate ID so much until I came on this app. Is it really that bad? Pay isn’t great but expecting a bump upon admission. Advice ?
