Hi there, I am looking for remote nursing jobs in New Hampshire. I have my compact nursing license, my BSN and have been a nurse for almost 6 years. Before that, I was an LNA. I come with experience. I can’t seem to get an interview for these types of jobs. Ill get eyes on my applications, will get a call back and then turned away due to having a compact license. For ex. I got a call back from A company out of Maine but says I need a Maine license. Anyone else have this issue?

I have family members who are inside claims reps for a large company. The company sends out emails 4 times/day showing who is currently not available for calls. To everyone working in claims in the entire country! It’s been a minute since I worked in claims. And never for this particular company. But is this shaming the new way to manage WFH.? Sounds at least toxic.

Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school. I had considered it in passing before but today was about the third or fourth time that someone had earnestly nudged me in that direction. Has anyone here made such a career pivot before?
