I was so scared to fail the bar I stupidly didn’t line up a job right after law school because I was afraid of the prospect of having to be rejected by my employer in the event I didn’t pass on the first or subsequent tries. I passed on the first attempt but still needed a job. By the time I was finally in a decent law firm I was well in my early 30s and and only now in my mid 30s and still learning the ropes
