I am interviewing as a senior consultant at KPMG finance strategy and transformation in Switzerland
1) Any tips on case types and specific questions to prepare for?
2) can anyone provide insights into the type of work they do? I do know the basics, but would appreciate input from someone who works there KPMG
Q: for FAANG recruiters, do candidates get a reject stamp after failing even at the later stages?
I advanced to the last stage at Facebook (Meta) around a year ago but failed on my last interview, a combination of not being familiar with the process and not having chemistry with the interviewer.
A friend who is a hiring manager recently recommended me and this time without even a HR call I received a straight up thanks but no thanks email.
Does this mean I’ve been permanently black listed?
Hi Team,

Not sure what the top of the salary band is, or the specifics for FS, but in the Private team the entry salary for a newly promoted manager is £50k in London and £45k outside of London (regional is 90% of London salary). I think £70k starts getting into SM salary range so gets trickier to negotiate for
That was starting salary for people who started as grads (so about 5 years experience)… I just read a post in the PwC bowl of someone who got an offer of £73k plus a sign on bonus for manager grade with 6.5 years of experience into the SAP team. Turns out experienced hires are offered significantly more than those who promoted internally
So at EY, the top of our M band is 87, let me know if u want a referral 😉
For the UK FS consulting practice that is. If you’re specialised, like an actuary or modeller, the band goes even higher, into the 90s I believe
SM home grown starts at £68k so it wouldn’t be more than that. I’m surprised they don’t offer you SM role with 9 yoe and coming from deloitte.
I mean that is ridiculously low… is your SM equivalent to M at other firms?
Manager is £50k starting
Senior Manager is £68k starting
You’ll be offered somewhere between £55k and £65k, I’d imagine
Aren’t PwC grades staggered one lower against Deloitte e.g. PwC M = Deloitte SC
