Hi VISA people,

I interviewed with Visa for a contractual role and quite positive that will receive the offer. However i am in a permanent role already and confused if leaving permanent role and taking up contractual role at Visa will be good.

Can someone tell me how are these contractual roles at Visa and do they get converted into FTEs. What are the chances of conversion and avg time period of conversion.

Also how is the work life balance for contractors?
I m being paid low with no benefits

While giving the tech interview as well as while having the HR discussion, I mentioned my expected CTC as 9-10 LPA(CTC). I cleared the interview and uploaded all the documents in the portal yesterday. Today mrng all the document verification was completed. But when I got the call for offer discussion, she asked what u expect. I said 9-10 LPA. She questioned me that on what basis I am asking for this much hike. She offered me 6.3 LPA as CTC with 21% variable. 5.2 as basic. Rest part in comments..

I applied for a job at Visa and was contacted the same day. A few days later I had a 30-minute screening interview with the hiring manager. I knew I was very early in the process since the job had only been posted for a few days. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard back, even after reaching out to the recruiter.
