If they don't, then you should reach out - the algorithm didn't show them your profile for nothing. Be proactive! Sell yourself.
Also, companies are nervous to hire people they think will ask for things, including remote work and relocation bonuses. They don't want to spend $10k to help you move across the country if you're going to quit in a year. If they know you're looking to work in an office and that you're excited about/interested in the position, you might get more bites.

Thank you so much, makes sense on another city but will keep on trying.
It may depend on the state/city you are looking at. If a company is hiring, what state you came from shouldn't matter, but your appropriate experience level would.
As for someone looking at your linkedin, I wouldn't take that as a sign. I click on people that are suggested to me, or if I'm curious about our connections, not because I'm looking to hire them. And I've had managers/owners click on mine for the same reason. I feel like most companies may have a marketing/HR person look at you as well/ or in places of the leadership team, or the PM/owner may view you as private.
If there's a firm you're really interested in, show them....by calling/following up with the person you sent your resume to.
Keep at it, and good luck!
If it's a place you've applied to, it's likely they want to see what additional information they can find (not listed on your resume), any skills or recommendations by colleagues noted on linkedin, or people you have in common. Ask people from previous jobs to highlight your skills or give recommendations on linkedin. And if you don't have any professional connections to ask, you could always ask a friend (who's in a professional setting) to talk about the skills they've seen in you as a member of a team (in general) as a starting point.
