House hunting in the Midwest and it’s brutal out there. Set up to view a house that looks promising, but the disclosures have “plumbing system” marked as “not available.” (There’s also apparently no water heater.) Has anyone encountered this before? Have any clue what it might mean? 2.5 bath, so I assume it had plumbing at some point. 🤔

After 6 years of temporary contracts and unstable situations, I find my dream job in my dream company. All of a sudden the world goes upside down and I get laid off. I start sending hundreds of applications, with only 2 recruiters getting back to me to say I don’t have experience for the job (this is how it works in Italy). Add a terrible health situation in my family and it seems there’s no light at the end of the tunnel. Ugh. 😞

However, it is far away, and will require 1h+ train/car commute vs. 10 min biking right now. Got news that my house closing may have to be moved due to a delay in the sale of my home. My partner’s income was excluded in the DI ratio, but if it were included we’d be well under the % threshold and can be approved to close on time regardless of the sale of my house. However our mortgage company’s underwriting team has been painfully slow in confirming if her income qualifies. She’s been at her new job 1 month after a year off. Anyone with underwriting experience have insight?
