Hi there. I am using Ed puzzle for my ENL students. Very cool, easy and creative. It’s videos from different platforms you pick from and you stop the video on your own pace to ask students a question based on the video. It can be a simple video such in grammar or any subject. Take a look at Ed puzzle you can link it into your google classroom. Have fun!

My boss often catches my careless grammatical/spelling mistakes in my communications, so I created a proofreading rubric and even had a colleague proofread it. I finally got the draft perfect today, but forgot to turn off “markup” on track changes. Manager called me out on it, and won’t let me live it down. I work so hard on it and feel incompetent and like a massive failure. Lesson learned. 😞I now feel like I have to overcompensate and prove my worth through other means

My vacation turned into a staycation. Hubby's boss never told him that he was also going to be out this week even when hubby asked for the time off. They can't have the #1 and #2 at the company gone at the same time. No longer upset. Still sending kiddo to daycare. My house is clean. I'm exercising. I'm signed up for lesson for a new activity. I broke out my rigid heddle loom. I am meditating. This is awesome.

Thought I'd share this for inspiration. I was eating right and working out for the past few weeks and my weight on the scale was not budging which in turn was demotivating me. Yesterday was my first rest day and cheat day. I also slept a full 8 hrs. This morning I stepped on the scale and voila! Down 6 lbs. This has motivated me to keep pushing. Another 15 lbs to my target. lesson learned - Trust the process!

Is anyone’s school system taking any of the lessons learned since last March about education and changing how they do business? Our county is reverting to the pre-pandemic factory model of education. I thought we might have some significant changes in education, but sadly it is business as usual- 7 classes of 25-35 students a day.
