How closely does your department work with the marketing department in your company? My employer is looking to increase the amount of collaboration between us, which I think will be greatly positive! I am just curious if other places do this as well.

No collaboration with marketing at my company. They mostly collaborate with Sales. Collaboration is great in my opinion, there is just not enough of it going around with people working mostly from home.

Agree, we work mostly with sales before marketing, but sometimes our meetings overlap and all the marketing stuff goes WOOSH right over my head

Same here, we work close with sales and pricing, but not at all with marketing. My company is huge and most of the comms from marketing are newsletters about people or companies we don't know nor ever work with. I often ask, what does marketing actually do to improve our business unit? It's not like we can advertise a sale on 53' container shipments.

Almost no collaboration between my team and marketing. I hardly know what they're doing on their side of the building haha. Sometimes I have ideas though and I wish that there were a way to collaborate a bit more.

It’s very discouraging to continuously receive these rejection emails. With 9 years of supply chain experience, I am not sure why I would not be able to at least get an interview for entry level roles that require no experience. Not just this one pictured but others as well. I’ve applied to maybe 60 positions since May, both mid level and “entry” and no interviews. I’ve had my resume professionally re-written twice. Not sure where the disconnect is. Anyone else going through this same thing?
